The September exhibition at the Midlands Arts & Crafts Society (Macs) is of oil paintings by Pietermaritzburg resident Phyllis Wadsworth. This is her first public exhibition and consists mainly of landscapes of the KZN Drakensberg alongside landscapes of Namibia and Gauteng.

Phyllis Wadsworth says that from her childhood she always wanted to paint, but family commitments made it impossible for her to fulfil her dream until recently.
