The line-up for the next two weeks at the Zulu Jazz Lounge is as follows:

Wed 20 – Eyam (June 20); The Ricky Moss Jazz Quartet (June 21); Iva Band (June 22) and The Judy Joubert Quartet (June 23).

The following week offers an equally hot programme with Siyanquba (June 27); Philani Ngidi’s band featuring Natalie Rungan (June 28); Mr Chacklass (June 29), and Bonani and Babalwa (June 30).

Regarding Mr Chacklass, Bhabha Mcanyana was born in Kwa Mashu 40 years ago and is known for being a member of the group Stax. He also had a hit single in 1987 with Chacklas-Chacklass. He will be performing at the Zulu Jazz Lounge with Bongani Nkwanyana and his band Jika.

The Zulu Jazz Lounge is situated in the Playhouse complex, entrance in Albany Grove.
