The University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Centre for Jazz & Popular Music will host Sweet Concept, a band of talented jazz students on May 16.

Playing a programme of jazz standards, Sweet Concept features Siyanda Zulu (trumpet), Thabane Gapara (sax), Siyanqoba Mthethwa (piano), Bheka Mthethwa (bass), Sbu Zondi (drums), Nomthandazo Madlala, Thembi Ntshaba, Ntokozo Mayisela and Nothando Makhanda (vocals).

The concert starts at 17h30 on May 16 and the music continues until 19h00. Admission R20 (R10 students) and there is a cash bar. More information from Program Administrator Glynis Malcolm-Smith on 031 260 3385.
