Naked Heart will take place at the Durban Manor on February 10.

“The idea is to create a space for artists to engage with the public through dance, visual art, performance art or any thing that tickles their fancy,” say the organizers.

The venue is very exciting and has lots of interesting spaces. For example there is a large room that can be converted into a movie house where art movies and short films will be displayed throughout the evening.

People can wander in and out at the leisure. The venue also has an interesting outside garden area. The evening is themed around the notion of Nakedness following the performance Naked part 1 that took place at St Mary’s Church Hall last year.

The evening will be a two-phase event. The first half of the evening will concentrate on performance and exhibition spaces, with the second half of the evening lending itself to a big party with two dance floors featuring a range of DJ’s. They will also be performance elements during the second half of the evening.

Small commissions will be granted to applicants depending logistics and budget.
