Sir Cliff Richard, rock and roll star and pop legend with a career spanning close on 50 years, is to give three performances in South Africa in March.

Concerts will take place in Johannesburg’s Coca-Cola Dome on March 3 presented by Talk Radio 702 and in Cape Town’s majestic Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on March 6 and 7 presented by KFM 94.5.

Sir Cliff, who has had more top ten hits than any other British group or solo artist in over five decades, has sold a staggering 250 million records during his career. He was the first rock star to be knighted, sold out a record-breaking 32 shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall, and is currently Wembley Arena’s best-selling artist. His South African tour in 1995, saw him performing to 115,000 people, and fans still rate this as “one of their best concerts ever”.
