Stand by to be amazed, exhilarated, entertained and blown away by the sheer performance and technical power of We Will Rock You, coming to the Playhouse next month.

Some 14 pantechnicons will roll into Acutt Street to the Playhouse loading bay to offload a massive amount of equipment from a 10m x 2.4m high video screen to a lighting rig which includes digital light curtains. There are 35 microphones and the cabling alone measures about 10 kilometres.

We Will Rock You, which is an all-South African production of the Ben Elton and Brian May and Roger Taylor (of Queen) collaboration, runs from October 3 to 10. Book at Computicket.
