Two of the soloists appearing in the KZNPO seasonal line-up can be heard in Friends of Music recitals.

Mezzo Charltotte Stoppelenburg teams with pianist Lara Jones, long-time darling of Durban's classical music scene, now based in Cologne, perform an evening of lieder on May 16.

Cellist Grigory Alumyan, partnered by pianist Rinko Hama, plays Beethoven, Debussy, Schumann, Granodos and Brahms on May 30.
