Well-known, respected and much-loved bass player Willie Ellison died in Durban on February 22 as a result of a tragic accident.

A more detailed tribute will follow later today.

The funeral will take place tomorrow (February 27) at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Newport Avenue at 12h00. Donations in lieu of flowers to Boys Town or South African Nurses Trust Fund.
