Appletiser has recently donated almost R60,000 worth of Appletiser to the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra. This donation is part of Appletiser’s commitment to the arts community of South Africa.

Neil Hobkirk, Marketing Director of Appletiser, said, “We are aware of the significant contribution that the Orchestra makes to the cultural education of our country and are pleased to be able to support them. Although it may vary from time to time the amount of stock we have allocated is 50 cases per month. The purpose of the stock is to be used to raise funds at events, or for use in the Orchestra’s outreach programmes or practice sessions.”

Sue Murray, the head of fundraising at the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra (CPO) said, “The extremely generous donations of Appletiser have been absolutely wonderful - the CPO's name is now synonymous with Appletiser. Our musicians, and particularly the Youth Orchestra, have become great Appletiser fans.”

Appletiser is also currently involved in several other arts initiatives including the Appletiser Art of Pure Pleasure Expos and the Appletiser Summer Sunset Concerts at Kirstenbosch.

The CPO will share visiting conductors or soloists touring South Africa along with bodies like the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra.
