South Africa’s greatest hands-on arts expo, the Nederburg Knysna Arts Experience will run from September 24 to October 3, 1999. This feast of visual, performing and community arts takes place in the picturesque Garden Route town of Knysna and will include over 65 art exhibitions.

Living Arts workshops will provide a series of organised arts demonstrations by 30 studios while productions will include plays, music, dance, singing, cabaret, film, children’s theatre, buskers, mime and drama workshops. Also on the programme will be spring school lectures and outings as well as a book fair and traditional choir and isicathamiya competitions.
