Andre Pretorius, a South African studying in Cambridge, has produced two fascinating documentary programmes to be broadcast in The Inner Ear on SAfm during September.

On September 13 and 17 Will Bernard takes a forward and backward look at Sophiatown in Triomf or Triumph?. On September 27 and October 1, listeners to SAfm can hear the third programme in the series on the South African War, written by Michael McCabe and featuring a host of well-known radio actors.
