With immediate effect, the Interface Animation Festival has been discontinued and the work thus far submitted handed over to the Cape Town Design Indaba Expo which will be collecting work from interested animators for screening at this event taking place in February 2008.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Durban Interface team are unable to continue Interface and have negotiated with the Cape Town Design Indaba Expo to take over the animations submitted for the 2007 event,” says Robin Opperman of Interface. “These animations submitted on disk will be couriered to the relevant person for screening at the Design Indaba. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported Interface in the past and wish them all the best in their future creative endeavours.”
