Move over, Rio Carnival! Hundreds of people in Durban have been hard at work for the last few months creating floats, props and costumes for the KZN Millennium Float Parade. Setting off at 18h00 on December 31 from Kings Park, it will embark on a route that will take it through the city, taking in the beachfront and moving past the International Convention Centre until it reaches the Port Precinct and the Harbour festivities.
