The Playhouse Company invites artistic ensembles, groups and production companies to submit proposals for educational programmes in dance, drama, music and poetry for possible inclusion in its year 2000 schools' programme. The programmes should ideally be 30 to 40 minutes in length and be suitable for and relevant to the envisaged target audience in terms of educational value, themes, language, and so forth. The productions should also be exciting and include a significant amount of audience participation.

Successful companies/groups should be ready to showcase their productions, or excerpts therefrom , at The Playhouse Company's Teachers' Function on March 16, 2000.

Written proposals should be accompanied by a company profile, production budget and support material such as videos and press cuttings. Proposals should be delivered no later than January 31 2000 to Tania Barbour at The Playhouse Company in Room 103, 29 Acutt Street, Durban, or sent by mail to her at P.O. Box 5353, Durban, 4000.
