The effervescent entertainer – known simply as “Stef” presents his Sidesplitting Hypnosis to wow audiences with a fun repertoire of fabulous hypnotic fun and comedy sketches which has been one of the best selling shows at the Grahamstown Festival for the past few years – at the Catalina Theatre in Wilson’s Wharf from February 1.

Dubbed “hypnosis on steroids”, Stef has been holding his own against almost 400 shows annually at the Grahamstown Festival of the Arts to be rated among the top handful of shows in terms of consistently good attendance.

“My show is a fast-moving outrageously funny production involving audience participation,” said Stef. From the minute this entertainer walks on stage, the audience is immediately transported into a world of make-believe. Other reasons for attending the show are being up on stage, experiencing the feeling of hypnosis and actually living these radical outlandish suggestions.

For the audience, and its subjects, Stef’s show is an explosion of music, lights, make-believe and humour: an experience one thinks and talks about for a long time.
