Well-known Durban craftswoman, Jackie Fletcher, who introduced the skill of marbling onto the Durban arts and crafts scene in a big way died in Durban on November 3.

She went into hospital the previous day for a small operation done to the veins in her leg, without which they would have become varicose. She passed away suddenly the following morning.

Those who knew and loved this highly talented woman are shocked by the news. She will be sorely missed.
