The Danish capital, Copenhagen, is the location for this week's edition of BBC World's travel programme, FASTTRACK on DStv.

The home of the Little Mermaid is one of Europe's best-loved fairytale cities but, as FASTTRACK finds, tourist numbers in Denmark are being affected by the country's tough rules and regulations on visas. Presenter Akhtar Khan and the team examine another controversial local topic – the future of the hippie commune in Christiania. And there's a tour behind the scenes of Tivoli, one of the world's oldest theme parks, which can be found in the centre of Copenhagen.

The programme also has the first in a special series of reports from Japan. This week it looks at an aggressive new campaign to lure greater numbers of foreign visitors to the country.

Each 30-minute edition of FASTTRACK offers news from and about the travel industry, advice on destinations and analysis of the issues affecting the business and leisure sectors.
