NB: as of 23 September 2008, all new artSMart articles are being published on the site news.artsmart.co.za. This Fragile Vehicle by Ian Hadfield is described as a relevant, intelligent, sexy new comedy/drama. It opens on July 1 at Kwasuka Theatre, Stamford Hill Road. Featuring up and coming actresses Mbali Nguse and Jessica Jamison, it explores important current issues such as the failure of the justice system to protect our 'fragile' women, and the place of sexuality in a divided society. This Fragile Vehicle runs from July 1 to 20 with shows Tuesday to Saturday at 20h00 (Sundays at 18h00) with matinees on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 15h00, with a special 'buy one, get one free' except on July 12 when Kwasuka Theatre hosts a Model Graduation by Boss Models. Tickets R60 booked through www.strictlytickets.com or by phoning 031 305 6882.
