NB: as of 23 September 2008, all new artSMart articles are being published on the site news.artsmart.co.za. The current exhibition throughout MACS Art House in Pietermaritzburg is of Wearable Art by Sue Akerman, Annette McMaster, Jutta Faulds and Clare Smith with some pieces on exhibit only and others for sale. “The theme for Creative Thursdays during 2008 is Changing Your Habits (a mixed/multi media series of workshops using what skills you may have and trying out something new in little nibbles) and this exhibition is designed to wet your appetite and encourage you to attend workshops,” say the organisers. All are welcome. MACS will host the launch of their MACS brand of postcards on February 6 at 17h30 for 18h00 at 173 Alexandra Road, Pietermaritzburg. Artists participating include Jutta Faulds, Annette McMaster, Sue Akerman, Gill Gerhardt, Jinny Heath and Kerry Landon. All welcome. Further details regarding workshops or exhibitions, etc available from the MACS office on 033 386 6500 (mornings).
