THE ARTIST’S WAY (article first published : 2006-05-21)

The Artist’s Way written by Julian Cameron is the inspiration for Jane Smith’s discovery of a spiritual path to higher creativity.

“I have had the pleasure and privilege of facilitating an Artist’s Way Group at our home in Alverstone,” says Jane Smith. “This has been an amazing experience for each one of the group and myself. It has been an honour to witness the joy in realisations that each participant has, and is experiencing on this journey.

“The Artist’s Way is one of the most subtle and gentle courses that I have experienced where the participant is brought to a deep realisation that they, we, are all amazing human Beings, capable of whatever we wish for ourselves,” she continues. “The Artist’s Way clears “the way”, allowing one to connect with who we truly are and therefore allowing “The Creator” to work through us in amazing creative ways. This is not only for artists, this course is for all, as we are creative in every aspect of our lives, work, home, play, spiritual….. in all form of relationship.”

The programme runs over a period of 12 weeks with meetings once a week from 18h30 to approximately 20h45. The cost is R1,200 (R100 per week) There is currently a group running every Thursday thereafter.

Participants need to have a copy of The Artist’s Way written by Julian Cameron, and a spirit of fun, and a commitment to doing what is required for them and the group to experience themselves fully.
