AMASIKO ETHU (article first published : 2004-09-25)

September being the month of where South Africans celebrate our heritage, the BAT Centre is holding an exhibition of several local artists in the Menzi Mcunu Gallery. The Centre has chosen to celebrate this month particularly because of inspiring South African creativity that has influenced growth in creativity of art productions amongst artist of KZN.

This exhibition is showcasing different art disciplines, newly discovered. Artists were invited to submit work; afterwards a few of the most outstanding artworks were selected for display in this exhibition. Featured in this exhibition is the works of Sandile Buthelezi, Jayne Dlamini, Lynn Khanyile, Hlongwa Bongumusa, Andrew Sabaporthy.

The exhibition runs until October 5.
