ECHO CRAFT BAZAAR (article first published : 2004-08-20)

For anyone who weaves baskets, twists wire, beads necklaces or moulds clay - here is a chance to sell your work in time for Christmas. All crafters are invited to take up this opportunity and start creating new craft items to submit to the Echo Craft Bazaar

The Bazaar has grown in popularity over the past ten years to become one of Pietermaritzburg’s premier events. The Echo Craft Bazaar is held in association with the Tatham Art Gallery and supported by the Natal Witness and Echo. This annual event offers all crafters of KwaZulu-Natal an opportunity to sell work, and gain exposure to a broader market than they themselves may be able to reach.

Those wishing to present their work in a popular, professional outlet should start preparing now. Submission of craft work will be for one week only from November 1 to 7, 2004, between 10h00 and 16h00.

More information from Julia Buss or Phumzile Sithole on 033 342 8070.
