The Durban Institute of Technology (DIT) Gallery invites entries from young people for the 2004 National Youth Festival Visual Arts Competition. The closing date is August 4.

One again, the DIT Gallery invites young people to submit their entries for the National Creative Arts Youth Festival Visual Arts Competition which celebrates 15 years of existence. The aim of the competition to stimulate creativity amongst young people from grade 0 to post-matric, display their works of art in an art Gallery, and awards cash prizes to encourage the pursuit of artistic endeavours.

Artworks in any media are accepted, these will be selected by a panel of judges and prizes will be allocated as stipulated in the entry forms.

Entry forms can be collected at the Durban Art Gallery (City Hall), NSA Gallery (Bulwer Road), and at the DIT Gallery (Mansfield Road). Electronic entry forms are also available per request. Also entry forms may be photocopied, but every work must be accompanied by its own entry form.
