BONISA OPEN DAY (article first published : 2003-10-24)

Bonisa Private Gallery in Kloof will feature a special Chrismas collection of art and craft at their next Open Day on November 2.

There will be some surprises this time, including Zulu beadwork with a difference and stunning photographs by Robin Glanville taken at this year’s Reed Dance.

Also featured will be sculptures by Carl Roberts as well as paintings by Paul Sibisi, George Msimang, Siphiwe Zulu, Ben Nsusha, and more. Following on from the previous Open Day will be paintings by Gavin Wright of striking African scenes.

Former radio actor now watercolourist John Simpson, who has been with Bonisa since its inception, will present his Christmas range of Japanese style cards. “How special to send an original card to someone this Christmas - forget the internet!” says Bonisa’s joint owner Neil Wright.

Bonisa Private Gallery is situated at 47 Ronalds Road in Kloof and the Open Day on November 2 is open from 10h00 to 16h00.
