BAD MOON RISING (article first published : 2007-10-1)

The ever popular “Gee Jays” get together at the Heritage Theatre for their annual jaunt on the boards with a brand new show titled Bad Moon Rising which celebrates the music of Credence Clearwater Revival.

With Gary McKenzie, Grant Bell and John Didlick in top form, expect the usual zany fun, non-stop one-liners and some comical depictions of how the songs penned by the Fogerty Brothers should be sung. The show will feature all the hits from the 70s supergroup, including Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Heard It Through the Grapevine and Looking Out My Back Door.

Bad Moon Rising runs at the Heritage Theatre in Hillcrest from October 9 to November 11. Tickets R175 pp Wednesday to Saturday (R150 Tuesday evenings and Sunday lunchtime). Prices include the now-famous Heritage two-course meals. Bookings on 031 765 4197.
