THE G-SPOT (article first published : 2006-07-11)

With nearly 100 years in show-business between them, Graham Rich and Frank Graham have been right royally entertaining audiences around KZN - and farther afield - with their individual brands of comedy.

Frank Graham (actor, comic and voice-artist) is best remembered for the many roles he played with gusto during the heydays of Springbok Radio comedy (Men from the Ministry, Father, Dear Father, The Navy Lark) and many more. He is also well known for his work on stage and television. His specialities are voices and accents - and his boundless collection of achingly funny stories.

Graham Rich has been keeping audiences in stitches for decades with his hysterically hilarious mime routines, to which he has added audience participation and singing. His superb timing complements his considerable repertoire of very funny faces.

In a show titled The G Spot, the inimitable pair work together for the first time in three performances at Rhumbelow Theatre from July 14 to 16. The venue opens 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner.

Tickets R60. Take along food picnic baskets and braais will be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Theatre is situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road.
