WATERSHED AT THE LAKE (article first published : 2007-07-21)

The popular group Watershed will perform at a Mr Price Music at the Lake Concert on Sunday (July 22) at 14h30 in Durban Botanical Gardens.

Watershed has earned its reputation as the most successful and respected band in South Africa because where ever they perform, they attract huge crowds. When they launched their second album Wrapped in Stone, some 10,000 people turned up at Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton. At the 46664 Concert in 2003, a crowd of 40,000 packed the stadium and in Europe they have enjoyed enormous success selling over 100,000 albums.

Their third album Mosaic was released in 2005 in South Africa and 2006 in Europe. Craig Hinds is responsible for writing and compiling the songs on this album many of which are personal reflections.

Tickets R80 (R20 per child between 6 and 12 years). Booking essential through www.Ticketconnection.co.za or contact their Call Centre on 0861 121 333. Tickets purchased online must be collected from a Mr Price Store. Secure parking is available on the Juventus Field, lower St Thomas Road and also at the Munies Sports Club off Sydenham Road
