CELL-C ST. ANDREWS STREET MUSIC FESTIVAL (article first published : 2005-09-11)

On September 24 (Heritage Day), the Cell-C St. Andrews Street Music Festival will take place outside the Durban Music School.

This popular event starts off at 10h00 with a marching display from the Field Band Foundation. This will be followed by the Interitmo Percussion Ensemble (10h30); KZN Youth Choir Link (11h00) and the DMS Junior Windband (11h30).

The Festival will be officially opened by His Worship The Mayor, Obed Mlaba, at 12h00.

The following programme includes the KZN Youth Windband (12h15); The Durban Divas (12h45); the Steel Band Foundation (13h15); the Northwood Marching Band (13h45); Sacred Heart Choir (14h15); SANDF Marching Band (14h45), and a further performance by the KZN Youth Windband (15h15).

Closing the festival will be the Youth Big Band (15h45); Salvo Rock Band (16h15) and Cynosure Rock Band (16h45).
