HARRY ANAND (article first published : 2005-07-18)

Great news for South African partygoers is that international star Harry Anand, known worldwide as the ‘King of Remix’, is currently touring South Africa, direct from India, with his unique style of music presentation.

He will appear in a concert presented by Vodacom and Lotus FM at the Durban Exhibition Centre on July 23. The radio station has featured many of Anand’s hits over the years and is presenting the show as part of the celebrations commemorating 22 years of successful broadcasting.

Star of the evening, Harry Anand, will be accompanied by his troupe of beautiful dancers. An added attraction will be the participation of the full team of Lotus FM DJs, who will also take the stage. The organisers have promised a top level technical production for the evening with all the latest sound, lights and screens to enhance a spectacular presentation.

Harry Anand is famous for number 1 hit songs such as Koin Sehri Babu, Kanta Laga, Miss Spicy Mix and Bombshell Babe. He has won two MTV awards, in 2003 and 2004, as well as two Bollywood awards in the USA and Dubai. He is highly sought-after and travels the world bringing his unique brand of remixes to huge audiences in countries as far afield as India, the UK, the USA and even Mauritius.

This will be his first visit to South Africa. Tickets R120 and early booking is advised.
