MEL LOWE FOR HILLCREST (article first published : 2005-05-15)

After a very successful launch of her new CD, Durban born Johannesburg-based singer Melanie Lowe comes back to KwaZulu-Natal to perform for two evenings in Hillcrest.

The first is at the new Heritage Theatre for their Monday night programme on May 23 and the second is at the picturesque Kearsney College for the Kearsney Music Festival on May 28.

Mel Lowe recently released the album, Yesterday’s Diary, and she will sing a range of new songs off her album and a few covers that are nearest and dearest to her. The artist who has a keen sense of community support is well-known in the Highway area as she takes pride in supporting a number of foundations and community based projects and has close links to various schools in the area.
