BLUEGRASS BANDITS (article first published : 2002-01-13)

The Bandits hit the Point Waterfront venue of Blue Bottles today (January 13) at 19h00. The bluegrass band plays predominantly traditional American bluegrass music with some lively country music thrown in. The band consists of Bryan Eaton with Craig Martins (guitar and lead vocals), Jack Todd (bass and vocals) and Cara Malan (fiddle). Cara is only 15 years old and she has already become a musician and violinist of note.

The Bandits recently hosted legendary American acoustic guitarist, mandolin and banjo performer, Eric “Deliverance” Wiesberg at Emoyeni.
