SHUMAYELA WINS (article first published : 2001-09-4)

Chris Ntuli, project manager of Durban Black Drifters recently held the second extremely successful high school competition. Sponsored by Caltex, DBD’s first sponsors, the competition took place at the BAT Centre and involved 40 schools.

Total prize money was R2,750 and the top prize went to Shumayela High School who won R1,000 with Ogwini High School and Ohlange in second (R500) and third (R250) place respectively. There were 10 consolation prizes at R100 each.
