KickstArt is Durban’s foremost professional theatre production company responsible for the staging of most of the quality dramas, pantomimes and family theatre in the city. Established in 2000, KickstArt is headed by two multi-award-winning theatre entrepreneurs: Steven Stead and Greg King. Traditionally Stead directs and King designs all KickstArt productions. KickstArt is synonymous with supreme quality –their productions are recognizable by their attention to detail, professionalism and high production values. They hand-pick their performers which ensures that productions are strongly cast using top professional actors, mainly from KZN.

KickstArt produces four productions annually – usually two dramas or theatre pieces; a large-scale family musical and a year-end traditional family pantomime. The line up this year has included David Mamet's Oleanna and Willy Russell’s gentle comedy Shirley Valentine. Currently at the Elizabeth Sneddon is the delightful family fantasy musical The Wizard of Oz due to close on September 7. Cinderella will round off a successful year, offering theatrical magic for young and old through this charming fairy story of rags to riches.

Cinderella will run from November 29 to January 4 in the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre. Reasonable rates are available to charities who want to buy a whole house or even half a house as fundraisers for their organization, or outings for office / large groups. Contact Steven on 072 796 4236
