The Creative Industries Skills Development Programme is a joint project of the MAPPP-SETA and DACST, funded through the National Skills Fund.

The Media Advertising, Printing, Publishing and Packaging Sector Education and Training Authority (MAPPP SETA) seeks to recruit a competent and energetic management and implementation team for the Creative Industries Skills Development Programme. The following three year contract positions are available, renewable on an annual basis subject to performance evaluation: Learnership managers for the applied arts and craft and entertainment industries; Research and development manager, and program administrator. The posts are Johannesburg based.

All contracts come with flexible, market-related remuneration packages, based on the experience and expertise of applicants.

In addition, six provincially based part-time Regional Skills Development facilitators are required - this function may be assigned to either an individual or an organisation. The SDF will be required to service the following provinces: Western Cape and Northern Cape; Eastern Cape; KZN; Gauteng and Mpumalanga; Northern Province and Free State and North West Province.

Applicants should submit CVs and covering letters outlining relevant experience and attributes on or before January 28 2002.
