MUSIC AND DANCE WORKSHOPS (article first published : 2001-12-29)

The KZN Department of Education and Culture and Field of Rhythm will present free music and dance workshops by renowned artist and instructor Nicholas Kotei Djanie of the Ghanaian “Suede Cultural Troupe”.

The workshops will take place on January 3 at the Bester Hall in KwaMashu and on January 4 at Stanmore Hall in Phoenix. Both workshops run from 09h00 to 15h00.

Nicholas Kotei Djanie is a Ghanaian musician, dancer and drummer who collaborates with other Africa countries. He will share his specialised skills of dance and numerous Africa instruments, imparting and sharing the sounds of the African continent with local aspiring artists.
