The Carl and Emily Fuchs Foundation (CEFF) in partnership with the Performing Arts Network of South Africa (PANSA) invite proposals for funding from organisations operating within the performing arts sector.

One of the oldest and largest family foundations in South Africa, The Fuchs Foundation has funded numerous arts and cultural projects, educational initiatives as well as development and outreach projects over the past 35 years. PANSA is an independent, national and democratic organisation acting in the collective interests of practitioners, technical workers, administrators, educators, companies and service providers within the performing arts sector.

All registered non-profit organisations that work in the field of the performing arts are invited to apply. Projects that are submitted under this call for proposals should create access for disadvantaged people to the performing arts. Typically the projects should be of an outreach nature and such projects could relate to any/all of the following: Dance and Ballet; Music and Opera; Theatre and Musical Theatre; Literature and Poetry.

The closing date for submissions is March 31, 2006.

Projects will be selected during April and selected projects will be informed during May 2006.
