BOOK BY GESHE KELSANG GYATSO (article first published : 2001-10-9)

Buddhist monk Sangdak Kelsang is the resident teacher of a newly developing Buddhist Centre - called Mahasiddha Kadampa Buddhist Centre - in the Durban area. It has a number of programmes running from weekly teachings on meditation and Buddhism for beginners to more advanced systematic studies of Buddhist texts. There are also courses on certain topics of Buddhist Philosophy as personal advice and practice - to enable people to overcome daily problems.

On October 10, Sangdak Kelsang will launch a bookshop talk at Exclusive Books at the Westville Pavilion about the newly published book: Transform Your Life - a blissful Journey by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, a renowned (Buddhist) Spiritual Master. The author invites readers on their own inner journey and shares with them some universal spiritual insights he has gained along his way. “For a serious seeker of happiness and fulfillment, there can be no better handbook,” says Sangdak Kelsang.
