UNDECLARED (article first published : 2003-05-22)

The 17-episode Undeclared starts on M-Net on May 28 at 18h30.

From Emmy Award-winning writer/producer Judd Apatow (Freaks and Geeks, The Larry Sanders Show, The Ben Stiller Show) comes Undeclared, a new single-camera half-hour comedy series that follows an eclectic group of six college freshmen who share the same dorm floor at the University of North Eastern California (U.N.E.C.).

In the show, the college life is seen through the eyes of the new and improved Steven Karp (Jay Baruchel), a kid who grew from scrawny high school nerd to potentially handsome college student. After saying goodbye to his dad Hal (Louden Wainwright III), Steven heads off for his first day of college, where he meets his new British roommate, Lloyd (Charlie Hunnam), a suave theater major who enlightens Steven in the ways of women. They share a common area with Marshall (Timm Sharp) and Ron (Seth Rogen), and live just across the hall from Lizzie (Carla Gallo), the girl on whom Steven has his eye, and Rachel (Monica Keena), Lizzie's panic-stricken roommate.

Undeclared looks at the lives of these six friends who help each other face the freedoms and responsibilities that come along with living away from home for the first time.
