HOW TO BE A PRINCE (article first published : 2005-12-4)

How to Be a Prince is a two-part documentary on Prince William to be screened on BBC Prime on DStv on December 10 and 17 at 21h30.

On June 21, 2003, Prince William turned 21. How to Be a Prince examines what it is like to be in line to the throne, documenting the life that Prince William has so far lived. It also draws on examples from the past, and shows how he might, in his adult life, avoid making some of the same mistakes his ancestors have made before him.

Featuring contributions from royal insiders, biographers and journalists, the programmes reveal William's personality, and compare it with that of his predecessors. In the light of these observations, what can we expect from the man who is destined to be King of England one day?
