SERIES CHANNEL ENTERTAINMENT (article first published : 2004-07-25)

The Series Channel (36) on DStv offers excellent entertainment with A-Team, Veronica's Closet

Currently running are the cult action drama series, A-Team (Saturdays at 18h00); the comedy series Veronica's Closet (Sundays at 20h30); The Chris Isaak Show (Wednesdays at 21h00) which takes an irreverent look at the sexy, outrageous world of rock music, and Band of Gold (Saturdays at 23h00) which is a gritty, contemporary thriller set in Yorkshire and London that focuses on the world of prostitution.

Also running are Step By Step (Sundays at 20h00) set in a beauty salon and the fast-moving, high-suspense police action drama series set in Sydney, Water Rats (Sundays at 21h00).

Where the heart is (Mondays at 23h00) is a hugely successful drama with engaging story of life, love, family and people’s ever-changing fortunes in rural England. The award-winning Cold Feet (Thursdays at 23h00) follows the lives and loves of six thirty-somethings in a heart-warming and comic drama as they try to find true love - or at least keep their relationships on track.

Little House of Prairie (Fridays at 23h00) is a dramatic series based upon the Little House series of books by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
