M-NET PREMIERS (article first published : 2004-03-28)

Monday night premieres at 20h00 on M-Net include Joe Gould’s Secret with Ian Holm (April 5), an intriguing tale about a detached writer and the eccentric homeless man he befriends. The Banger Sisters (April 12) with Goldie Hawn. Susan Sarandon and Geoffrey Rush is about two former rock groupies who reunite after 20 years. The romantic comedy The Broken Hearts Club is an ensemble drama about several gay friends experiencing love and life in Hollywood starring Zach Braff and Dean Cain.

The true-life drama Door To Door (April 26) with William H.Macy, Helen Mirren and Kyra Sedgewick deals with a man with cerebral palsy who is determined to become a salesman.

Wednesday Night premieres on M-Net at 20h00 feature Dolly Parton, Dave Sheridan, Randy Quaid and Kevin Pollack in Frank McKlusky, CI (April 7) in which a claims investigator gets involved in all kinds of hilarious shenanigans while trying to find out who killed his partner. The comedy Slap Her She’s French) on April 14 stars Jane McGregor in a movie about a blonde bimbo’s life which turns topsy turvy when she invites a French exchange student into her home.

Cameron Diaz stars in The Sweetest Thing (April 21), a comedy drama in which a party girl sets out to find the man who could change her ideas about love and sex. Sorority Boys (April 28) with Barry Watson, Michael Rosenbaum and Harland Williams is about three sex-obsessed chauvinists who dress in drag to get a place in a women’s fraternity.
