On November 24 at 20h00, Will Smith gets into the ring to play Muhammad Ali in the M-Net premier Ali.

Also starring Jamie Foxx, Jon Voight, Mario Van Peebles and Jada Pinkett Smith and directed by Academy Award nominee Michael Mann in 2001, the movie is about Muhammad Ali, one of the biggest legends in boxing history.

The movie cover the period from 1964 to 1974 and is told in three sections. The boxer: His rise to becoming champion to regaining the championship. Religion and politics: His adoption of a Muslim religion, His short-lived friendship with Malcolm X. He refuses induction into the US military and faces a five-year prison sentence while his case goes to the Supreme Court. Family: His marriages to his first and second wife are explored.

Aliís is portrayed as a man who sacrificed so much for what he believed in and his comeback cemented his legendary status as one of the great sports figures of all time.
