LIONíS RIVER MUSIC FESTIVAL (article first published : 2005-05-16)

The rolling hills of Dargle in the Natal Midlands are set to ring with the sounds of 11 top local bands on May 21 in the Lionís River Music Festival. This celebration of local music will take place at the Lionís River Polo Grounds.

Starting at 12h00, the line-up includes Steve Fataar, Mbongeni Djembe Drummers, HelpBreakMary, Líour, Habit To, Sitter, Soul Proxy, New Academics, Wickhead and 16Stitch.

Entrance fee R40. Dargle is 120km from Durban. Take the N3 off-ramp to Howick North/Tweedie. Turn right onto the R103. Some 5km further, turn left to Dargle/Impendle. Campers are welcome.
