The SABC has announced the appointment of Gail Samuels to the role of Manager, Lotus fm. This appointment reaffirms the national broadcaster’s commitment to continuously improving its services and products.

Mandla Soko, general manager of Public Broadcasting Services: Radio Division says: “We are all excited to announce the appointment of Gail. Her passion for broadcasting and her strong background in marketing and public relations will enable her to make an immense contribution.”

Prior to this appointment, Gail was Lotus fm’s marketing manager. She developed innovative marketing strategies and was instrumental in consolidating Lotus fm position in this competitive broadcasting industry.

Commenting on her appointment Gail said: “I am delighted to be appointed into this position. I am looking forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure that Lotus fm remains the beacon of light as it has been for the past 25 years.”

Lotus fm carries three drama programmes per day – the current series are Lollipop Lane by Clinton Marius, Safar by Anjali Kirpalani and Living off the Dead by Kayon Dixon.
