TBDC MARKET (article first published : 1999-12-29)

Why not head for the TBDC craft area in Alice Street for interesting and inexpensive ceramics? At the same time you can support local crafters who now have a home at the new African craft market which forms part of the Thekwini Business Development Centre (TBDC). Coming down the freeway into town, you’ll find it just over the Warwick Road/Alice Street interchange on the right hand side.

The project was funded jointly by Unilever and the British and United States consulates to the tune of more than R200 000.
